The Origin of the Mandia Anchalik College dates away back to 1981.It was the long cherished dream of the local pepole who were aspirants of highereducation for their offsprings. The intense desires and untiring efforts of our founding fathers lit the light when the college started its first academic session in September 1981 with arts faculty onlyunder a thatched roof in the premises of the then Mandia HighSchool with the eminenteducationist and Ex-minister of Govt. of Assam, late Atuar Rahman as the principal. The college, being affiliated to Gauhati University,has been imparting higher education in one programme i.e. Under Graduate (U.G.) programme.
The college, being affiliated to Guuhati University, has been imparting higher education in one programme i.e. Under Graduate (U.G.) programme. The college has been accreditated in Grade 'C' by NAAC in the year 2004. Presently , the college is working on preparation to invite NAAC for Accreditation and Assessment once again.
Being a rural college , it is essentially catering to the academic needs of local youths coming from families of cultivators and poverty stricken multitude. It requires a very soft careful managerial acumen in the process and the college authority is committed to this noble task, and to maintain a healthy and conducive academic atmosphere. The college is alwways in pursuit of attaining strength to meet the growing challenges of Higher Education.

With the new academic session getting under way, I being the principal of the Mandia Anchalik College, would like to welcome the students who passed out the Matriculation and 10+2 standards and now are in search of the best instituion that can cater to their quest for quality education in the course of higher studies. The parents and guardians are also in the problem of choice on the future career of their wards.
The Mandia Anchalik College, since its inception, with a host of experienced teachers, has been on efforts to facilitate the students dreaming of high education with its right obejctives and well planned road map. In addition to the University presscribed syllabi, the college keeps arranging a number of extention service to enrich the students with a sense of nationhood, commitment to the well being of the society, cultural and artistic ettiquitte.
The institute aims at spreading knowledge of various disciplines amongst the youths of rural and semi-urban populace of the region to make them responsible citizen of the country so that they can attain the necessary competence to face the challanges of modern world and contribute towards the upliftment of society. Another endeavour of this institution is to irradiate a sense of unity and integrity among different sections of people of this greater locality.
1. Every pupil of the institution & all intra institutional bodies shall be subject to general guidance and control as may be prescribed by the College Governing Body from time to time.
2. Any students ,found to have involved in anti academic activity , disobedient or indecent in his or her behaviour with the teaching and non- teaching staff, shall be subject disciplinary action.
3. A Students who is found to have violated college rules shall be liable to expulsion.
4. Admission Fee and all other fees are to be paid at a time for the whole year on the day of admission.
5. Each academic session will run as per Academic Calendar embodied in the prospectus
6. Wearing of college uniform is compulsory during college hours on all working days including days of College Week, Meetings and Examination etc.
7. Identity Card supplied from the college should be kept with students inside the college.
8. Mobile phones are strictly restricted during class and examination hours. Any violation is subject to severe disciplinary action.
9. Spitting/Somking/ writing on walls, doors and dirying in any way in and around the college building is strictly prohibited. Any student detected doing so is subject to examplary disciplinary action.
10. No notice or leaflet can be circulated in college premises without due permission of the Principal.
11. Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any student found involved in any form of ragging inside the college campus shall be viewed as per Govt. Law.
12. Commitee constituted by the Principal under his/her chairmanship will be competent authority to prohibit ragging.
